Matthew Doyle, 40, and Michael Waine, 40, were both convicted of conspiracy to commit burglary
Two men from Manchester have been found GUILTY of conspiring together to break into cash machines in the North West.
There was then a ‘prolonged’ attack upon the machine, with two of the men using an angle grinder, moving the machine out of the wall and continuously trying to break into it for an hour-and-a-half, it was said. Further CCTV footage showed that Jepson got a train from Lancaster heading towards Manchester, two hours after the attack. However, members of the public became suspicious of him due to his wet and muddy clothes and texted the British Transport Police, and when a ticket inspector found he did not have a ticket, he was asked to get off the train.
They left the station, and returned with two more men at 3.09am. One can be seen carrying a small orange bag. The prosecutor said this bag contained the explosives.
