A man was left in a coma for five weeks and his housemate suffered a fractured skull after intruders stormed their home in northern Victoria with knives and hammers. 9News

Matthews' housemate was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, where doctors told his family he likely would not survive.Meanwhile, Matthews is still suffering seizures from the skull fracture.Police are searching for this man over the attack.
