Two Mindanao bishops, Tandag Bishop Emeritus Nereo Odchimar and Malaybalay Bishop Emeritus Honesto Pacana, passed away on February 1. Odchimar, 83, died at the San Pedro Hospital in Davao City due to complications from diabetes and kidney disease .
Pacana, 91, died at the Maria Reyna-Xavier University Hospital in Cagayan de Oro City from heart failure. Last month, two other Mindanao bishops also passed away.
