Two five-year veterans of the Jersey City Police Department and a bat-wielding third person have been charged with breaking into a private building and threatening multiple people, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced Friday.
Adrian Tejada, 28, and Robert Nunez, 41, both Jersey City police officers, were each charged with three counts of terroristic threats and burglary, while Mario Albero, 45, was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose , burglary and unlawful possession of a weapon . All three were arrested Thursday by members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Internal Affairs Unit following an investigation into terroristic threats and burglary. They were released pending their first court appearance.
