Police responded to a 'disturbance' on the street on Saturday night
Police officers were initially called to Copeland Close to a 'disturbance' at around 10.20pm on Saturday night . The two people were treated on the scene for injuries 'not believed to be serious or life-threatening'.
Greater Manchester Police have not revealed the age or gender of those left hurt. A spokesperson for the force said a man was then arrested on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control.In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 10.20pm on Saturday 9 November, we responded to reports of a disturbance on Copeland Close, Middleton. Upon arrival, two people were treated for injuries following a suspected dog attack.
"Thankfully, the injuries were not believed to be serious or life-threatening. A man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control."
