A number of other passengers are currently being treated at the scene.
Emergency crews raced to the incident at Aviemore Railway Station, in the Highlands, at around 7pm today. Medics from the Scottish Ambulance Service attended the scene and two passengers were found injured.
They were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment, where their current condition is unknown. Meanwhile, a number of other passengers are currently being treated at the scene.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7pm on Friday, 29 September, 2023, we received a report of two trains colliding at Aviemore Railway Station. Emergency services are in attendance, and two people have been taken to Raigmore Hospital.
