A Homicide Squad investigation is underway after a man died in a park in Melbourne's west in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services were called to Balmoral Park on Lennon Parkway in Derrimut, Melbourne's west, about 4.20am on Saturday. CPR was performed on the man by emergency services who arrived at the scene but he was unable to be saved.The Homicide Squad is investigating after a man was found dead in a park in Derrimut, Melbourne's west.
