Two-thirds of registered voters in swing states rejected President Joe Biden’s climate policy restrictions on appliances, according to a new survey.
Only 28% of voters in the poll supported government restrictions on appliances, and 8% were unsure or refused to answer, according to the results shared exclusively with the. On the other hand, 65% of those polled supported consumers making the decisions for themselves.
Republicans supported consumer appliance choice the most at 79%, and self-identified liberals the least at 45%. Alliance for Consumers is a nonprofit organization “dedicated to reforming how we protect consumers by promoting best practices that advance the interests of everyday consumers in public and private consumer enforcement actions.”
