Two women arrested after toddler fell from the window of an eighth floor flat
POLICE have arrested two women after a toddler fell out of a window from an eighth floor flat.
Emergency services were called out on Tuesday after reports of an infant plummeting from a block of flats in Sunbury, Surrey.The horrific incident took place at around 3.50pm and the two-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital.The tot remains in hospital but is now stable. A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called to reports of a child who had fallen from the window of a block of flats on Spelthorne Grove in Sunbury at around 3.50pm on Tuesday afternoon .
"Officers attended along with colleagues from the South East Coast Ambulance service and a 2-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a stable condition. "A 24-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman, both from Sunbury, have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect."Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
