Any witnesses are asked to contact British Transport Police and the station has been partly closed while investigations take place.
Two women have been arrested after a suspected stabbing at a Tube station left a man in a life-threatening condition. Officers were called to Seven Sisters in north London at 8.48am this morning to reports of a serious assault. A man was taken to hospital with injuries 'consistent with being stabbed', said British Transport Police. It said his injuries were believed to be life threatening. Two women were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
One of them has been further arrested on suspicion of common assault. They remain in custody and inquiries are ongoing. Police said the station remained partly closed while they investigate.
