Two women have been arrested following disorder at a popular Birmingham bar.
A woman was believed to have been stabbed during the disturbance at Albert's Schloss last night around 8pm.West Midlands Police confirmed a woman had been injured during the attack.
"A woman was wounded and treated for injuries. The two women, aged 29, and 30, were arrested on suspicion of serious assault, and they remain in custody." Birmingham City Centre was packed last night, despite the bad weather, with both the German market and Chamberlain Square proving popular with festive revellers.Albert's Schloss has confirmed a woman is in hospital after being attacked in the venue.
"Thankfully, the swift response of our trained security and management team ensured the injured guest received immediate treatment and care."
