A victory at the Supreme Court today for a 76-year-old Castle Hills woman. The former city council member has been locked in a legal battle with the town's mayor and other city officials.
“I am elated. I am so happy that the Supreme Court heard and listened to me," Gonzalez told News 4 I-Team reporter Jaie Avila on Thursday. Back in 2019, Castle Hills Mayor JR Trevino and other city officials accused Gonzalez of tampering with a government record - specifically the petition against the city manager.She claims it was all a pretext to punish her for her opinions and feels vindicated by Thursday’s ruling.
