Many locations across Glasgow are being used for the UCI Cycling World Championships
Glasgow is the official host of the UCI Cycling World Championships with thousands set to descend onto the city this week.
Eight thousand elite and amateur cyclists - including para-athletes - are taking part in the sporting competitions. In total more than 120 countries are represented with more than 200 world champions taking part. The opening ceremony will take place at Glasgow's George Square on Wednesday, August 2 from 5pm until 8pm.
