UEFA have landed themselves in hot water by accidentally ‘revealing’ the Champions League final opponents.
The governing body pushed a promoted tweet showing Real Madrid will be taking on Inter Milan, two hours before Los Blancos face Manchester City in the semi-finals.The tweet read: “The finalists are confirmed and the scene is set.The picture then showed Real and Inter’s club crests either side of the trophy, despite Man City having every chance to still be there.Pep Guardiola’s side take on the 14-time winners at the Etihad with the score 1-1 after the first leg.
They’re also unbeaten at home in the Champions League for their past 25 home games, suggesting last season’s winners Real may be facing their toughest task in a while.
