Chandler explained that, given it was Veteran’s Day in the US this week, he initially wanted to pay a unique tribute with his Big Apple fight kit.“But then I felt like it could kind of be Apollo Creed -- almost looks a little gimmicky, you know? Elsewhere, Chandler also explained his decision to take on the ‘Iron’ nickname when he was a young fighter, grinning: “Number one, I wanted a nickname before somebody just gave me a random one.“And obviously I take a little bit of flack, like, ‘oh, he’s copied off Mike Tyson’.
