A UK beach, renowned for its appearance in a heart-wrenching Harry Potter scene, has been recognised as one of the world's top coastal spots.
However, for those who grew up with Harry Potter, Dobby's death marked the transition from the dawn of innocence to the dark night of adulthood. The much-loved house elf's poignant death took place on Freshwater West, a Pembrokeshire beach in Wales, now acknowledged as one of the most stunning globally.Beachatlas.com, a beach guide, recently announced the winners of its 'Golden Beach Award' for 2024, and Freshwater West secured the 72nd spot, reports the Mirror.
In 2022, it was highlighted that the abundance of socks left by fans at a memorial had sparked environmental concerns, prompting the National Trust of Wales to review the site for eight months.
