UK coronavirus deaths rise by 66 to 45,119 with none in London
THE UK coronavirus death toll has hit 45,119, with 66 fatalities recorded in the last 24 hoursHowever, the latest Department of Health figures show 642 Brits have tested positive for the killer bug - higher than the 538 new cases recorded yesterday.The latest rise in deaths confirmed by the Department of Health is lower than it was yesterday, when 85 more deaths were logged.
The latest figures show 2,491 patients have now died in Scotland after testing positive for Covid-19 and 18,384 people have tested positive for the virus - which is up 11 from yesterday.Northern Ireland also recorded no further deaths - keeping their total at 556.is lower than the official daily government figures.
