Someone in the UK has won over £83 million in the EuroMillions lottery, claiming their prize 13 days after the January 24th draw. This is the first UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2025 and the 23rd biggest National Lottery win of all time.

National Lottery operator Allwyn confirmed one ticketholder has just successfully claimed a more than £83million EuroMillions jackpot. The lucky winner held on to their ticket for 13 days after the January 24 draw, but they’ve now claimed their life-changing £83,474,081.80 prize. This is the first UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2025, and it’s the 23rd biggest National Lottery win of all time.
’ It’s a strong start for National Lottery winnings in 2025, following on from last year where the third-biggest jackpot ever won by a UK player was scooped up in November. That anonymous lucky winner walked away with £177million, while Richard and Debbie Nuttall won £61million in January, and two other anonymous ticketholders won £24million and £33million respectively back in July.
