LOCKDOWN rules are being flouted by motorists as 'worrying' new data shows a huge spike in the use of cars.
Director of Public Health England, Yvonne Doyle, released worrying statistics showing a huge increase in the use of motor vehicles during the UK lockdown. Motorists have been flouting the social distancing rules to not do any long distance travelling in the highest spike yet since March 23. The UK began its lockdown on April 16 and the Government has not yet provided a date to when it will end.
