Scotland's Luskentyre Beach has been named a 'dupe' for the Caribbean's Grace Bay Beach, and it's not hard to see why, with miles of white sand and clear turquoise waters

Ideal for adventurers, the sand dunes and hilly landscape of Luskentyre provide excellent hiking or cycling trails, reports the Mirror. While swimming in the sea is an option, it's recommended to wear a wetsuit as the water temperature seldom rises above 10C - perhaps the only significant downside when considering this location as a Caribbean alternative.
