Renowned food critic Grace Dent lauded the establishment as 'about as good as it gets,' and its menu reflects this high standard. The Unruly Pig specializes in fresh, local, and seasonal British cuisine with an Italian twist, affectionately dubbed 'Britalian' fare. Diners can indulge in delectable dishes like Cromer crab tonnarelli pasta, iberico pork press, and a 'crosta' cod loin. The menu also boasts an 'Be Unruly' tasting menu and a classic Sunday roast offering. Just days after earning its national recognition, The Unruly Pig announced a special one-night takeover at KAJI Bar and Restaurant, a luxury Japanese fine-dining establishment on Bridge Street in Manchester.On February 5th, guests will be treated to a unique nine-course tasting menu, a harmonious blend of KAJI's flame-inspired Japanese cuisine and The Unruly Pig's bold European flavors. The culinary collaboration will see Chef Patron Dave Wall and KAJI's Chef Patron Steven Smith showcase an exquisite gastronomic journey. This special menu will feature a selection of KAJI's finest sushi, BBQ Octopus with Nduja, gentleman's relish, and pickled onion, fried Louët-Feisse oysters prepared in two distinct ways, and a Iberico Presa consisting of braised cheek raviolo, lardo, morel, and black garlic.
