The Royal Navy's lastest hunter-killer submarine, HMS Anson, has just completed sea trials in the Carribean and will soon join her sisters.

The crew also got some time for much-needed rest and relaxation in one of the world’s most popular holiday locations. The fifth Astute-class submarine, HMS Anson, is now almost ready for deployment after her latest sea trials, reports the Royal Navy. The newest and most cutting-edge of the Navy’s hunter-killer submarines, the ship conducted her trials in the Caribbean Sea.

They also have a stockpile of Spearfish torpedoes to knock out enemy submarines and surface vessels. These torpedoes can be guided by wire or controlled by autonomous active or passive sonar to provide deadly accuracy.Astute, Ambush, Artful, and Audacious, on the Navy’s roster. These 1.3-billion-pound submarines can circumnavigate the globe while submerged.

“Anson spent time in waters off the UK coast and then sailed further north of Scotland to test her weapons systems with successful firings of both Spearfish and Tomahawk test missiles,” the In some places, it’s 20 miles wide, 150 miles long, and up to 6,000 feet deep.
