Weather maps indicate that England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland will all experience this warm spell from April 4th to April 12th. During this period, conditions are expected to improve, with the temperature rise affecting all 92 counties in the UK at some point.
April 4th could see temperatures peak at around 19°C in the south, reaching towards Southampton, while most of the rest of the country will also experience high teens. The following day, April 5th, may kick off the weekend with barbecues in back gardens as the mercury is predicted to soar to 20°C. The pleasant weather is set to continue into Sunday, with the east of the country, around King's Lynn, anticipated to be the warmest. The subsequent week looks to maintain similar warm conditions, with 20°C expected in the Midlands and the south, including London. Other parts of the country could enjoy temperatures of up to 18°C. By April 8th, the mercury is once again expected to hit 20°C, with cities such as Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, and London basking in the balmy conditions, reports the Mirror. However, April 9th will bring a slight dip in temperatures, with most of the country experiencing mid-teens. On April 10th, the North East, particularly Newcastle, might experience the highest temperatures of 18°C, although it will be cooler elsewhere. \The UK is predicted to enjoy temperatures of 20°C on April 11th, with the warm weather continuing into the following day. The Met Office has projected that this heat will be felt across the country and even spread to parts of Europe. According to the Met Office's forecast for early April: 'From the start of April, settled weather is expected to cover much of the UK. Most places are expected to be dry with clear or sunny spells and light winds.' Inland areas can anticipate a gradual warming trend next week, although coastal regions may remain slightly cooler with the potential for mist or sea fog along parts of the east coast. While there is a possibility of more unsettled and perhaps cooler weather in the north and northeast, the overall forecast suggests dry and fine weather across the country. Despite the daytime warmth, cold nights are still possible when skies are clear. BBC Weather's outlook for April 7th to 13th indicates little change in the general weather pattern, suggesting it could remain drier and somewhat calmer, with temperatures near or slightly above the seasonal average. However, they also note a persistent risk of colder weather. 'Some changes may occur in the course of this week. Low pressure could return near Greenland, with frontal systems approaching from the west and north-west, along with slightly wetter and windier conditions emerging. In view of this trend, temperatures are more likely to rise a little. Nonetheless, the long-term weather models depict increasingly diverging patterns during this period.
