The head teacher of a UK private school reportedly made a distressed call to a relative before she and her family were found dead at the school south-west of London. 9News

Emma Pattison, 45, was found dead alongside her husband George, 39, and daughter Lettie, 7, in the early hours of Sunday at their home in the grounds of Epsom College, which is about 26 kilometres about from London.READ MORE:Head of Epsom College, Emma Pattison, 45, was found dead alongside her husband and young daughter within school grounds.

Epsom College, a private, fee-paying school for 11 to 18-year-old children, said it was working with police in its investigation. Dr Alastair Wells, Chair of the Board of Governors at Epsom College, said on Monday that the community was in "utter shock" and disbelief upon hearing of the news.
