Passengers flying with Ryanair could end up paying a £20 fee if they get caught out by the rule
UK tourists heading to Turkey, Morocco and Albania have been warned about a boarding pass rule which could catch them out. Passengers flying to destinations within these counties must have a printed boarding pass as digital passes on mobile phones won’t be accepted by airports.
One person responded saying: “Online check in is not available from Tirana airport. You have to check in at the airport.” Both Ryanair and easyJet have clarified the rules on their websites.In a statement on its website, Ryanair said: “We accept mobile boarding passes on flights from the majority of airports on our network. However unfortunately some airports cannot accept mobile boarding passes yet, these airports are: Turkey and Morocco.
