BRITAIN is braced for a wet week ahead as the Met Office forecast heavy showers and strong winds for Monday.
Luke Miall explained that the UK would see heavy showers and wind in addition to potential thunderstorms in the south on Monday. He added that temperatures would be “disappointing” for this time of year and noted that this week overall would feel fresher potentially with chiller nights. The Met Office meteorologist said: “It is a fresh start for many of us this morning, quite chilly in parts of western Scotland under those clear skies.“There will be some sunshine around first thing as well.
