Britain set to be blown away by blustery 60mph gales ahead of snow this weekend
The Met Office's latest Thursday forecast said: "It will be a windy and wet day for many."There will be outbreaks of rain and hill snow in Scotland, northern England and Wales.
And forecasters at Meteogroup said: "Rain or showers for many through the day with strong winds for many parts, especially across the south and exposed coasts. Temperatures will remain in the high single figures for much of the country on Thursday, according to forecasts. NetWeather forecasts London will “feel like” -4C by Sunday night into Monday, -5C in Birmingham and -3C in Manchester."At the moment, it looks like snow at the lower levels will be across the northern parts of the UK."
