Temperatures are expected to rise substantially again later this week
The UK is set to get a 'spike' of hot weather this weekend, according to forecasters. The weather in the country has been unseasonably cold recently - but this is set to change in Nottinghamshire as well as elsewhere.
Nottingham is expected to reach 26C on Friday, July 7, with Norwich set to be the hottest part of the country on Saturday, July 8 - in Nottingham temperatures should peak at 24C on Saturday. However once the 24-hour window passes, the temperature will drop into the low 20Cs, Daily Star reports.Jim Dale, senior meteorologist at British Weather Services, said people should expect a "short spike" from July 7 to 8.
