A 39-hour Met Office warning is in force with heavy snow set to sweep across the city on Thursday.
Snow is set to fall across Leeds towards the end of this week as the Met Office has put a number of weather warnings in place across the country.
The Met Office have warned that snow "could develop quite widely" on Thursday and Friday. They said: " Parts of Northern Ireland, north Wales and northern England are currently expected to see the worst of the conditions on Thursday, with parts of Scotland and northern England then seeing the heaviest snow on Friday."Now, weather forecaster WXCharts has shown exactly where and when the snow is expected to fall.
This is then expected to continue on to Friday although most of the snow will move North during the day. As a result, Friday will see less snow than Thursday, but Leeds and areas on North Yorkshire will still experience flurries.
