The Met Office issues a yellow warning for heavy rain in southeast England with the alert in place from 4pm on Wednesday to 3am on Thursday. There are also similar warnings in other parts of England and Wales.

As of 3pm, there was one flood warning and 15 alerts in place in England, as well as eight warnings and 30 alerts in Wales.There's also been wet weather in the South West, in Dawlish, Devon Meanwhile, a yellow warning for strong winds was issued for west and northwest Scotland until 7pm on Wednesday.
