Snow ‘set to hit today’ as Met Office issues warning ⚠❄

THE UK is bracing for a chilly start to the week, with snow expected in parts. Flood alerts have also been issued across England.

By Monday, evening rain and sleet are expected to have moved across parts of Northern Ireland, southern Scotland and northern England. *Prepayment meter customers will receive a £5 Amazon voucher. ClickRoads and railways may be affected by the wintery conditions, with longer journey times by road, bus and train services expected.The Met Office forecast Central Belt snow on the ground over 100m, low-level snow in North-West Scotland, where up to six inches will fall over 300m, and up to two inches in southern Scotland on hills.

Met Office forecaster Simon Partridge said: “Cold air coming from off Canada brings the potential for the most widespread snow this winter on Monday."Scotland will certainly see snow.
