Live reporting from Lucia Binding. Updates from Alex Crawford in eastern Ukraine and Diana Magnay in MoscowPresident Vladimir Putin has described the missile strikes as a response to"terrorist" attacks by Ukraine - notably Saturday's blast that damaged Russia's bridge to Crimea .

Meanwhile, the Kremlin also said it hoped the G7 would hold"the Kyiv regime" accountable for the crimes it has committed. "Energoatom prepared and sent another batch of diesel fuel to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant," the company said in a statement. Russian President Vladimir Putin has blamed Ukraine's security forces for the explosion and, as we've just outlined, Russia's Federal Security Service said it had detained five Russians and three citizens of Ukraine and Armenia over the blast.
