He says that NATO has endured many changes of governments and new political parties during its 75-year history.On the US, Mr Stoltenberg says he"expects they will remain a strong and loyal ally, as it is in the security interest of the US".NATO's secretary general Jens Stoltenberg is due to speak in Washington shortly.
