How powerful is the Patriot missile system - and how much is it helping Ukraine?
It was designed before hypersonic weapons were sent to battlefield and the company behind it has not said publicly that it is effective against a missile flying at hypersonic speeds . The UN-brokered agreement has allowed the safe export of Ukrainian grain since last July, but it is due to expire tomorrow, and Russia has not yet agreed to an extension.
"We and others got a letter calling on embassies and representative offices to refrain from using the outer walls of their buildings for 'politicised propaganda'," one diplomat, whose embassy is displaying an Ukraine flag image, told Reuters. Sky News has not been able to independently verify the figures and Russia does not publish data on its own losses. But Hungary has argued that the EU is using the fund"solely with regard to Ukraine" and this is stopping sufficient amounts being channelled into other areas such as the Balkans or North Africa. Hungary, also a member of NATO, has refused to provide any military equipment to its neighbour Ukraine, and has repeatedly criticised EU sanctions against Russia - reluctantly agreeing not veto them.
It has been renewed twice since then - once for 120 days in November, and again in March, though that time only for half the intended period.The blockade by Russia's Black Sea fleet after it invaded its neighbour cut off supplies to markets around the world and sent grain prices soaring.
