Ukraine could 'rout' Russian forces if they break the land bridge on the front line at Zaporizhzhia, military analyst Sean Bell has told Sky News. Meanwhile, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is heading to Russia for a meeting with President Putin.

By General Mark Milley - the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff - has advised that Ukraine has between 30-45 days to turn the tide of the war with its counter-offensive before the autumn rains start to impact the battlefield.

General Milley has helped ensure that the Ukrainian military has as much military intelligence support and specialist advice available as possible, but admits that the offensive has made slower progress than initially anticipated. If Ukrainian forces are able to cut through in Zaporizhzhia and reach the coast of the Sea of Azov – or at least get close enough to hit the remaining territory with artillery – it would effectively cut Russian forces in half.
