Ukraine's Sea Baby drones receive a major upgrade, extending their range and payload for strikes on Russian ships across the Black Sea.

To improve its autonomous maritime capability, Ukraine has upgraded its Sea Baby multi-purpose unmanned surface vehicle , which is manufactured by the Security Service of Ukraine .

Talking to Ukrainian media outlets, Artem Dehtiarenko, a spokesman for the SBU, said the Sea Baby has been upgraded to carry over a ton of explosives across over 620 miles. Can cover entire Black Sea“Today, the SBU can attack enemy ships virtually anywhere across the Black Sea,” Dehtiarenko said., including the Samum and Pavel Derzhavin missile carriers, SIG tanker, Olenegorsky Gornyak amphibious assault ship, Nikolay Moore tugboat, and Vladimir Kozytskyi reconnaissance and hydrographic ship.

The reason for pulling back the fleet is the alleged heavy use of aerial drones, sea drones, and anti-ship missiles by Ukraine on Russian ships. Ukraine has done some lethal damage to Russia’s land platforms as well, including its T-72, T-90, and T-14 main battle tanks and BMP infantry fighting vehicles .
