Earlier today the chair of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, said the report should become the basis for an international investigation. "I can confirm that there has been a significant increase in attacks and shelling. And it is in the direction of Kreminna that they are trying to build on their success by pushing through our defenders' defences," he told Ukrainian television.If Russian forces broke through Ukrainian lines near Kreminna, which lies around 62 miles from the regional capital Luhansk, it would take them closer to the much larger city of Kramatorsk.
