Ulster crashed to a heavy opening defeat to Toulouse last weekend
Ulster have been warned that there will be no let-up this weekend after their 40-point defeat to rampant Toulouse last Sunday. Richie Murphy’s side return to Belfast for round two in the Champions Cup but face a Bordeaux-Begles team that are second only to Toulouse in the Top 14.
“I’ve no doubt we’ll be better this week in some things than last time, but the big thing is can we be better in every moment of the game,” said Ulster assistant coach Dan Soper. Murphy is expected to have skipper Iain Henderson, new Ireland cap Cormac Izuchukwu, Rob Herring, Tom O’Toole and Nick Timoney back after he went with a less experienced side last week.
