The Newark pensioner had lewd chats with a girl he thought was 13
A perverted pensioner's ill health did not deter him when he arranged to meet a girl he believed to be 13 at Morrisons car park after lewd chats online. Alan Ullyett, aged 77, said he needed sex with her, Nottingham Crown Court heard, after police had released him "on trust" for a similar crime one year earlier after a heart attack.
The court heard on Monday , as married Ullyett was sentenced for both crimes, how he had been back online messaging the second "13-year-old" one year later before he was caught outside Morrisons. Pictures of children, aged between three and 14 years, spanned across all three categories of seriousness, from A to C, but dated back to 2021. Before he was sentenced, Gregor Purcell, mitigating, spoke for Ullyett when he said the pensioner had heart failure, difficulty in his movements, and sleep apnea.
