Man Utd youngster Kobbie Mainoo has not played since the beginning of October but is close to a return.
Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has taken part in Ruben Amorim's first training session on Monday.
Speaking before the international break, Ruud van Nistelrooy said Mainoo was "progressing" in his recovery from his injury but that he required "more time" to be available again. Mainoo started every Premier League game for United until his injury and started in 23 from a possible 25 games after making his full league debut against Everton last season.
Mainoo's rise in the last 12 months has been stunning and he is a player United will look to build their midfield around as Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks to restore the club to former glories.
