At the time of inspection, there were said to be almost 2,000 apprentices studying across 30 apprenticeships at levels 4 to 7. UCLan’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Baldwin said: “I’m delighted that our efforts in degree apprenticeships have been recognised by the Ofsted inspectors.”apprentices benefit from high-quality training facilities, which could include their new £35 million Engineering Innovation Centre along with growing campuses from Burnley, Lancashire to Cyprus.
Ofsted also reported that staff, who are a part of the colleague and student community at UCLan of 38,000, are highly qualified and experienced in their sectors.
