Second year illustration students at the University of Northampton want to prove the importance of their course
Daniel Jupp, a second year illustration student, said a closure or merging of courses would create an "unsure and overwhelming environment". The university said in a letter to students it would undertake a consultation on courses in 2025 to "maximise the opportunity for high graduate outcomes". When asked if the exhibition was intended to prove the importance of their course, Mr Jupp said "yes, that is what we want to do".The student's work features a "sci-fi, fantasy world" themed publication, with a "dystopian" feel.
