Ms. Karingula's cousin, Latha Reddy, described her as an 'ambitious' young woman who came to Glasgow with dreams of a bright future and making her family proud. Ms. Reddy shared that her family wishes to bring Ms. Karingula back to their home in Hyderabad, India, for her final rites and to honor her memory according to their traditions. A fundraising campaign launched to help repatriate Ms. Karingula to India exceeded its target, raising over £11,000. Ms. Reddy expressed her sincere gratitude to all the donors, emphasizing that their contributions would provide invaluable support to her family during this unimaginable loss.
