The Seven Network has revealed a major change to its programming on Saturday when the Matildas face France in the FIFA Women's World Cup quarter-final.
The Matildas are set to play France on Saturday at 5pm AEST at Brisbane Stadium in what will be one of the biggest matches in Australian woman's football.
Channel 7 has made a major decision to push back its 6pm news bulletin for the Matildas quarter-final on Saturday. Picture: Roni Bintang/Getty Images However, the network will have its hands full as the Saturday night AFL timeslot will now be pushed back to 7.30pm. But the schedule could be impacted if the Matildas go into extra time, as it would leave little room for the news to air.
