Police have launched an appeal
A dog walker was subjected to 'unprovoked attack' in a Nottinghamshire park before being robbed. The man and his dog were in Yeoman Hill Park, Mansfield Woodhouse, when he was approached by another man between 6.50am and 7.10am on November 14.
The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered injuries to his face during the attack. Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.PC Summer Smith, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack on a man who was minding his own business and walking his dog.
“Robbery is an incredibly serious offence, so naturally it’s very important to us and the victim that we find the people responsible for this and bring them to justice.
