Laura Black, Holly Sim and Clare Hopps have now been praised for their heroic actions after the baby was treated by paramedics at Gateshead superstore.
An unconscious and unresponsive toddler was saved by three quick thinking Asda employees after they heard his frantic mum's pleas for help.
The store's security section leader and mum to three-year-old Kallum, said: "All I heard was someone saying 'can someone help me, help me, please' and I saw this lady cradling her son. My heart just sank, it really did." "Being a mum myself and having many years of first aid knowledge, I just knew I had to get this little one cool."
The boy's distressed mum was comforted by Asda colleague Clare as the anxiously waited for paramedics to arrive. "I was proud of what I did and being able to assist. The key component was to not panic and intuitively do what I've been trained to do."
