After sitting behind older players in the RB room last year, Miller and Haynes are prepared to share a prominent role in this year's offense.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — A lot of people are very high on the Alabama running back room entering the 2024 season, and for good reason.
Addressing the media after Wednesday's practice, offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan spoke on the relationship Miller and Haynes have as they prepare to lead the Alabama backfield as a tandem. “We help each other on and off the field. If he sees something that I didn’t see, we go to each other and talk it out and just help each other improve on our game," Miller said. "We compete overall. It don’t matter at this point who’s first, who’s second or who’s third, we’re just here to win. That’s what we came here for is to compete. Here at Alabama you’ve got great players all over, from offense to the defensive side. That’s the main reason, we’re just here to compete.
