Parma native Corina Pavel never expected to pursue a career in law enforcement.

“I have always had a strong desire to travel, to experience and learn about different cultures and languages. My goal was to eventually land a career that allowed me to travel the globe, which has worked out for me. With the Secret Service, we travel all over the United States and the world on protection and investigative missions.
“Most people assume that all I do is work presidential visits and fly around on Air Force One,” she said. However, the agency also investigates crimes against the financial infrastructure of the United States.
