Updated: Jul. 14, 2024, 6:27 p.m."At 6:15 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of Fruitdale, or 11 miles northeast of Leakesville, moving southeast at 10 mph," according to the weather service. "Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees."The weather service states, "For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
