Investigations into the incident in Salford are ongoing
A suspect who was arrested after footage circulated of a man 'chasing a car with a hedge trimmer' at a petrol station in Salford has been released on bail, police have confirmed.
The clip appeared to show a male running from the petrol station towards a van. He then grabbed the hedge trimmer and appeared to charge towards a car with the power tool in his hands.The driver then sped away out of the forecourt, and back onto Regent Road, as the man appeared to shout towards them. Yesterday, Greater Manchester Police said a man - aged in his 30s - had been arrested on suspicion of affray.
